A BlankTV Premiere Presentation:
Rockets Dead Glare - "Error Of My Ways"
Rockets Dead Glare brings an updated version of the classic California punk rock sound pioneered by such greats as Bad Religion, Social Distortion, and Green Day. This influence is evident on their debut, from the anthem-y chorus of "Fake Smiles & Bullsh#t", and the melodic harmonies of "Error Of My Ways", to the uptempo ultra-catchy hook of the single "Smart Phones For Stupid People". Singer/guitarist Nick Nicioli's lyrics range from the personal to the sociopolitical, while bassist Jeff Feuerhaken provides dynamic vocal harmonies to go along with drummer Dustin Keeney's solid foundation.
About The Video: "Error Of My Ways", the second music video from Rockets Dead Glare off their self-titled debut, was all self-produced, directed, and edited by Jeff Feuerhaken. The entire video was shot in the corner of a warehouse, but utilized green screen footage with CG backgrounds. The video pays homage to the Sin City movies, characterized by their high-contrast, black and white, "graphic novel" vibe. Johan Johanson was the DP on the project, Jessica Mathias did hair/makeup and provided additional support, and Mike Kobzeff contributed "car-shaking", in addition to other help. Model Cassie Harward plays the female cop featured in the video. Special thanks go out to Chris Deleon for lending his lowrider, and Robert Rendon for allowing us to use his ride, which doubled as "Barricade" in the Transformers movie.
