Artist Bio:

Hailing out of Tucson Arizona, Animus Divine is pure metallic chaos at its finest. The band's unique style of hybrid metal melds together the southern grooves of Pantera with a death metal mindset, and the spastic insanity of 36 Crazyfists to create a volatile sonic battering ram of heavy metal. The band is ready to take the metal world by storm with the release of their new album, “NOVO”, which will be released digitally on May 10th, 2014.

"NOVO" was recorded under the watchful eye of producer Matt Good, guitarist for From First To Last and D.R.U.G.S. Animus Divine's brooding sound falls under a new breed of bands that pay homage to classic metal group's such as Slayer and Pantera, and mixes in a reinvented aggro sound that has infectious hooks.

One of Animus Divine's greatest assets is the powerful voice of vocalist Chuck Clark, who commands the audience's attention. The group is anchored by the intricate guitar work by Derek Thornhill and Steven Pardo who shred on the album with a arsenal of infectious riffs. Bassist Gary Ranstead and drummer Joe Lytle provide a tight rhythm section, and added depth by the electronic samples of Jonah "Grimey L" Smith.

Animus Divine has quickly developed a large underground following with an explosive live show that has helped them steal the show opening for the likes of Static-X, Devil Driver, In This Moment, Gwar, Winds of Plague, Mushroomhead, Fear Factory, and Born of Osiris. The band recently destroyed the competition winning the Headbang for the Highway The Summer Slaughter Tour showcase in Arizona in front of a packed house. Unwilling to rest on their laurels, Animus Divine are continuously striving to raise the bar as they aim to take things to the next level.
