A BlankTV Premiere Presentation:
When We Were Wolves - "Hounds" (Feat. Phil Cross)
Since forming in July 2011, post-hardcore quintet When We Were Wolves have spent the last year and a half establishing their place within the music scene of their home region of South Wales. Hailing from the town of Bridgend, the band's outstanding work ethic and passion to share their music to all those willing to listen has won over many a fan in the local scene. Although sticking closely to their post-hardcore influences When We Were Wolves attempt to break free of many of the confines of the genre with the release of their debut EP 'The More Things Change, The More We Stay The Same'. The band's passionate approach to songwriting united with meaningful lyrical content, rhythmic hooks, as clean melodic and raw aggressive vocals tactfully layer up and blend together on this record to tug on the heartstrings of all those who listen.
With no other prior recorded material to date, When We Were Wolves have thus far built a fan base purely on the back their live performance, gigging relentlessly to people all over Wales and England and engaging with audiences of all ages. Their determination to deliver a fierce, dynamic live performance at every show has allowed them to share the stage with breaking bands such as Bury Tomorrow, Exit Ten, Martyr Defiled, Pay No Respect and Carcer City.
The band plan to take on the rest of the UK throughout 2013, hope to get the EP out to people everywhere and play shows to as many new faces as possible.
